Patna: The Rashtriya Janata Dal has launched a major attack on CM Nitish Kumar over the use of a Swastika on a symbol pillar on behalf of the Bihar government. In fact, a new war has now begun over the centenary pillar being built in the complex right in front of the Bihar Assembly. To make the centenary programme of the Bihar Assembly memorable, a pillar is being constructed right in front of the main gate of the Assembly. On Thursday, when Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla arrived in Patna on the occasion of the foundation day of the Bihar Assembly, the pillar under construction was dedicated. A new controversy has now started over the same pillar under construction in the same assembly complex when the leader of the opposition Tejashwi Yadav has raised questions about it. A tweet has been made from Tejashwi Yadav's office where allegations have been made that after independence it will be the first pillar in the country that will not have the Ashok Chakra, but instead, the swastika mark has been put up as shown in the form of the pillar dedicated by Om Birla. RJD has also opposed the installation of the Swastika mark on this column. The RJD has targeted the Nitish government by tweeting about this from its official Twitter account. The RJD tweeted, "CM Nitish Kumar and Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha have challenged the people of Bihar that by removing the insignia of Ashoka Stambh from Bihar, they will put the infamous Swastika symbol of the Nazis of Germany on their foreheads. Nitish Kumar will continue to see everything like this by becoming Dhritarashtra."
