'No one needs to show strength in elections alone': CM Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai: The Congress, which is in the Maharashtra government, is planning to contest alone in 2024. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena chief and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also sent a strong message to the Congress. In fact, the Shiv Sena says, "In future, Shiv Sena can also contest alone without any alliance. However, since the country is currently reeling under an epidemic, this is not all the time to play electoral politics". All this was said during the 55th Foundation Day of Shiv Sena. Uddhav Thackeray held a virtual meeting during shiv sena's 55th foundation day. In the meantime, he said, "This is our birthright. But there is no proper time now. As long as the corona epidemic remains a challenge for all, we must keep electoral politics at bay. Instead, we should work for the betterment of the people of the State".

In fact, it was only recently that the Congress had expressed its desire to contest the next assembly elections in 2024 without any alliance. Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole had announced that the next Chief Minister of the state would be from the Congress. In fact, he had said that if the party allows, he himself is ready to be the face of the next Chief Minister in the state. Shiv Sena now says that it is clear that nana patole will not remain silent unless he becomes the Chief Minister of Congress in Maharashtra in 2024.

Recently, Uddhav Thackeray said, 'No one needs to show strength in elections alone. For me, the word 'solo' also deals with self-esteem. It can be used to raise its voice against injustice. When there is no capacity to bear the burden of the sword, what is the use of hollow slogans?' He also promoted the sentiments of Shiv Sena workers and said, "Shiv Sena has strengthened in the last 55 years. It is not a party that craves power. At the same time, it will not succumb to pressure. We have inherited a rich legacy from the late Bal Thackeray".
