New Delhi: On the occasion of the consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22 in Ayodhya, the temples of the capital are going to be decorated with colorful lights and flowers like the day of Diwali. Along with this, Ramcharit Manas is going to be recited in temples and copies of Ramcharit Manas are also going to be distributed. This decision was taken by the officials of all the Ramlila committees of the capital in a meeting on Sunday under the leadership of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh. In the meeting held at the National Club in Fatehpuri, the president of the federation, Arjun Kumar, said that after 550 years, we are going to get a chance to worship Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Therefore, in order to make this day historic, all the Ramlila committees have decided to decorate the temples in their respective areas with colorful lights and flowers. Along with this, the Pran Pratishtha program of Ayodhya will be shown live through big LED screens outside the temples. Mahasangh General Secretary Subhash Goyal has said that the copy of Ramcharit Manas is going to be distributed by Ramlila committees. Huge stores will be organized in the temples and 501 desi ghee lamps are going to be lit. Along with this, Ramlila Committee will take out a grand procession of Lord Ram and is going to make welcome gates at various places. The federation has also appealed to the residents of the capital to celebrate together with each other on this day like Diwali. In this context, an organization named Sampoorna organized a Ram painting competition in Lodhi Garden on Sunday. Meanwhile, a large number of children and adults participated and about 100 children came dressed up as Lord Ram and goddesses, including children living in orphanages and special homes. On this occasion, in a competition divided into three categories, children and adults expressed their feelings on the subject of 'My Lord Ram' through painting.
