Patna: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), which is probing the paper leak case of the 67th Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission, has arrested the examination centre magistrate. They have been arrested from their house and brought to Patna for investigation. BDO Jaivardhan Gupta was made the Examination Centre Magistrate at Veer Kunwar Singh College. Let me tell you that the most news of rigging came from this exam centre. The last was the BPSC preliminary exam on May 8, 2022. However, the paper leak incident came to light at the Veer Kunwar Singh Examination Centre in Ara. The examinees started creating a lot of ruckus at the centre. The examinees alleged that the exam centre operators had allowed some of the examinees to enter the examination hall ahead of time. Mobile phones were also present in the possession of these examinees. The exam paper has also been leaked on telegram. The paper that has gone viral on Telegram and the paper of BPSC is said to be the same. The 67th Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination was conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission on May 8, 2022. A total of 1083 examination centres were arranged in 38 cities of the state for the examination. About 6 lakh candidates appeared in this examination from Bihar and many other states. The exam was held at 12 noon but the examinees were disappointed. The Bihar Public Service Commission has postponed the 67th Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination after the paper leak case came to light. A three-member committee was formed on behalf of the Commission in the paper leak case. The committee was asked to submit a report within 24 hours. However, the committee submitted its report within just three hours and recommended the cancellation of the examination.
