Kejriwal, Sisodiya, Aatishi trail behind in early trends, BJP on 45 seats, AAP on 25

As votes are being counted by ECI on Delhi elections, the early trends reveal that the face of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)- Arvind Kejriwal, Aatishi and Manish Sisodiya are trailing behind on their constituencies. However, the fight will still be a close one with the major competitors this year, BJP and AAP standing with a tie.

Arvind Kejriwal is behind on New Delhi constituency, Aatishi from Tarkaji. While Manish Sisodiya from Jaidpura is also behind.

BJP has already chased the majority mark of 36 seats, it is now leading on 40+ seats. But Aam Aadmi Party is far enough right now on 25 seats. BJP is clearly on an edge, but some experts say that there can be a change. It is just an hour since the counting, with a little wait results will emerge.

With Arvind Kejriwal still trailing behind, the state BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said, “The statements made by Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh yesterday show that they are going to lose…Today, the people of Delhi will decide if they will go with development or corruption. I think the people of Delhi have selected the path of development, and the result will be in our favor.”

Earlier, from Ballimaran seat BJP was leading which is a Muslim dominant constituency but now AAP is coming to lead. While BJP is dominating in North and South constituencies.

INC is now leading for the first time from one constituency.
