Fahadh Faasil had met with an accident back in March when he was filming for ‘Malayankunju’. The actor has finally opened up about the incident in his latest post, he shared about the unfortunate incident and how lucky he escaped with minor injuries. “This may not be an appropriate time to write amidst a life threatening pandemic. Let me begin with the hope that all of us are fighting things the best way we can, now and ahead. I was also undergoing recovery from my accident I had during Malayankunju. So in my calendar the lock down started from March 2nd. My doctors said it was "Close".” Fahadh mentioned in the note. The actor also shared about his lucky escape. “As a defence mechanism my hands touched the ground before my face, which in 80% of the cases victims fail to do because of the trauma and depth of the fall. I was lucky I didn't lose my presence of mind, my doctor added. There again, I was lucky with life for the Nth time,” he added. Check out the complete post here. In the note, Fahadh Faasil also divulged that his ambitious upcoming movie ‘Maalik’ is going to be released directly on the OTT platform. The actor said that the decision was ‘collective’ and requested all to see it in the best interest of the film. ‘Maalik’ is directed by Mahesh Narayanan and the film was made to screen in the cinema houses, but the makers have finally decided to go the OTT away owing to the current scenario. Although the team has confirmed a digital release, they are yet to announce the platform and date.
