Lucknow: A married woman was allegedly raped by a doctor at his clinic in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya district, police said on Sunday. He carried out this rape and held her hostage at his clinic all night. The police have registered a case of rape and threatening and arrested the accused doctor. According to the complaint given to the police, the woman, a resident of a village in the Rudauli Kotwali area, has said that she was supposed to come to the doctor's house for treatment. The woman was married in the Sitapur district. In the evening, the woman reached the doctor's clinic to get medicines. The doctor then raped her. She was held hostage at his clinic all night. In the morning, the woman somehow rescued herself from his clutches and went to her maternal home in the Rudauli Kotwali area and told the whole incident to the family. After this, the family members took her to the police station and gave a written complaint against the doctor Sudhir Jaiswal. Station House Officer Manoj Kumar Yadav has informed that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered and the accused was arrested and presented in the court, from where he has been sent to jail.
