New Delhi: Farmers are adamant on the 10th day on Delhi's borders against agricultural laws brought by the Center. The 5th round of talks is to be held between the farmers and the government on Saturday. Meanwhile, farmer organizations have announced to burn the effigy of PM Narendra Modi. Bharat Bandh has been called on 8 December. The farmers are protesting at the Chilla Border (Delhi-Noida Link Road). One farmer said that if no result is found in the talks with the government today, then he will surround the Parliament. The farmers who have stood on the borders of Delhi against the agricultural laws have been stuck for the last nine days and the 10th day of their agitation. There have been talks with the Central government twice on all issues. No concrete results have been revealed so far. Farmers are adamant on the demand for withdrawal of the agricultural law, as well as firm faith in the minimum support price (MSP). The Central government is not in the mood to withdraw the laws, but there are some demands of farmers on which the government seems to agree. Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has slammed PM Modi on the issue of farmers. He said that the farmer of Bihar is in great trouble without MSP-APMC and now the PM has pushed the entire country into this well. It is our duty to support the provider of the country.
