Srinagar: Six political parties have formed a party in Jammu and Kashmir. The party members have appointed Farooq Abdullah as the President of the National Conference (NC) and appointed Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti as the vice-president. In fact, it is a group of political parties that are demanding immediate restoration of a special register removed from Jammu and Kashmir. The decision was taken at a meeting held at the Mufti's Fairview residence in posh Guppar Road, Srinagar. Leaders of all six parties - NC, PDP, People's Conference (PC), Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), People's Movement (PM) and Awami National Conference (ANC) were present in the meeting. Farooq Abdullah said that the People's Alliance group was not an anti-national coalition for the Gupkar Declaration or PAGD, but it was certainly an anti-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah said, "I want to tell you that this BJP is propagating falsely that PAGD is anti-national. There is no doubt that it is anti-BJP, but it is not anti-national." Abdullah said that this war is not religious, it is for his identity and rights.
