New Delhi: In a shocking and tragic incident that unfolded in Delhi's Khadda Colony, a 23-year-old man lost his life in a brutal stabbing attack. The assailant, identified as Shahrukh, aged 22 and son of Farooq, reportedly engaged in a minor dispute with the victim and his brother before carrying out the deadly assault. The victim, identified as Kamal Kishore, met a tragic end in the incident, while his 18-year-old brother, Shivam Sharma, sustained critical injuries. The attack occurred near Arpan Puliya, B-Block Khadda Colony, and both victims were rushed to Delhi's Apollo Hospital for immediate medical attention. Regrettably, Kamal succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. Meanwhile, Shivam remains under medical care, grappling with severe injuries inflicted during the brutal attack. Rajesh Deo, Deputy Commissioner of Police (southeast), confirmed the incident and disclosed that all three individuals involved were residents of Khadda Colony. The accused, Shahrukh, has been apprehended and booked under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation indicates that the accused and the victims were well-acquainted with each other. A minor dispute between them escalated into a tragic and fatal confrontation, leading to the vicious attack that shocked the Khadda Colony community. The authorities have registered a murder case, and further legal actions are set to follow as the investigation continues.
