Palamu: A heart-wrenching incident is coming out from Palamu, Jharkhand, in which a man strangled his daughter to death. After the murder of the innocent, the criminal was trying to escape to Punjab. But the family members and villagers caught him from Daltonganj railway station. As soon as the news of the matter was received, the police reached the spot and arrested the culprit. The same incident is of Konwai area of Panki police station area of Palum district. Where the father strangled his 5-year-old daughter to death in anger.
On Friday morning, the body of a 5-year-old girl was found lying in the Koel river near the Gorho temple on the border of Medininagar city and Chainpur police station area. According to the police, the girl was murdered by strangulation. The girl, identified as the daughter of Anand Singh, a resident of Konwai of Panki police station area, was missing since Thursday afternoon. He was last seen with his father. But the family members of the girl were busy searching for her. At the same time, he was also doubting his father.Suddenly they got the news of his body being found from the Koel river. The family members identified the dead body by reaching MR MCH (Medini Rai Medical College Hospital).
Police said that Anand Singh brought his daughter in an auto to Medininagar and then took her to the Koel river ahead of the Gorho temple and strangled her to death at around 8 pm. After the murder, Anand was trying to escape to Punjab. Around 9 pm he called his wife and asked whether Sanjana was at home or not. He has reached the station to go to Punjab. His wife got suspicious on this, many people of the village and family reached the station on the complaint of the woman and 10 minutes before catching the train, arrested Anand and brought him home. After interrogation at home, Anand confessed to the murder. He said that due to the taunts of the father, mother and brother, he killed the daughter. Now the matter is being investigated by the police.
