FC Goa registered 2-1 victory over Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2020-21 at the Fatorda Stadium on Sunday.or Angulo and Redeem Tlang scored the goals to seal the victory. After this defeat, Bengaluru FC interim head coach Naushad Moosa feels FC Goa was well prepared for the game.
At the press confernce, Moosa said, "FC Goa was a totally different side. They were very compact. They were dropping back and they did not give us enough room. Tactically, they outplayed us." He further added, "If you look at the first half, then this is a fair result. If we give away such an easy goal then it becomes difficult. After that, we had some opportunities, with a header from Sunil and Cleiton hitting the bar."
On the other hand, With this victory, Bengaluru FC, Juan Ferrando, FC Goa head coach has shifted his focus to the next game, Ahead of the clash at the post-match press conference, Ferrando said that the target of the team now is to focus on the Hyderabad FC game on Sunday."
Chennaiyin FC played out a thrilling 1-1 draw at GMC Stadium, Bambolim on Sunday Indian Super League. With this draw, the ISL campaign of the team is ended. On the other hand, FC goa is all set to lock horns with Hyderabad FC in their next match.
