FIFA World Cup live: How can we watch the Qatar World Cup in India?

NEW DELHI: Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, two channels on Etihad's E-BOX entertainment system, will broadcast every FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM game live in the air.

The live TV service is available on the wide-body aircraft that the airline uses for flights between its hub in Abu Dhabi and locations in Europe, North America, Australia, Asia, and Africa. In order to handle the large increase in tourists visiting the region, Etihad Airways will operate six daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Doha through December 18, 2022.

"Live football matches are an addition to the substantial live TV content and in-flight entertainment offered by Etihad. Numerous football fans from around the world will travel to the area for the first time, and we look forward to showing them our legendary Arabian hospitality "said Terry Daly, executive director of brand, marketing, and guest experience at Etihad Airways.

In addition to live football, guests at Etihad may also view games from the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the National Football League (NFL). On Etihad's E-BOX, you can also watch the most recent Hollywood, Bollywood, and other films in addition to live worldwide news networks.

Etihad Airways won the 2022 Passenger Choice Award for Best Entertainment in the Middle East from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). Once more, APEX and TripIt from Concur collaborated to gather anonymous passenger feedback based on unbiased, third-party passenger feedback and insights for the award. TripIt is the world's top-rated trip planning service.

More than 600 airlines from around the world submitted ratings for more than one million flights for the 2022 Awards using a five-star system. On one screen, five subcategories namely seat comfort, cabin service, food and drink, entertainment, and Wi-Fi, could be anonymously rated by passengers. Airline customers can easily rate their trip using a single screen in less than 15 seconds.
