Sriram Laghu, who is known for his outstanding performances in the 70s and 80s, has died at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune after a long illness. He was 92 years old and he has appeared not only in Bollywood films but also in Marathi films. Along with this, he has also been a part of Marathi theater. You all must have seen him in Amitabh Bachchan's famous film Muqaddar Ka Sikander. With this, he has appeared in films like Hera Pheri, Gharaunda, Manzil, A Little Infidelity, Unclaimed, Shriman Shrimati, Vidhata, Sadma, and Insaaf Pukar.

He was born in the Satara district of Maharashtra and he studied medicine and got an MBBS degree. After that, from the time of studying in medical college, he also started doing theater. It is said that he joined the Progressive Dramatic Association at that time and he obtained a degree in ENT surgery from Mumbai University and practiced in Pune for 6 years. At the same time, he also went to Canada and England for additional training and after coming back to India, he started a proper practice in Pune. After this, he stepped into the field of acting.
