Former Commissioner Parambir Singh has been booked under the SC-ST Act

Mumbai: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh now seems to be reeling under difficulties. In fact, an FIR was lodged against him late last Wednesday night by a Mumbai Police Inspector BR Ghadge, based on the same complaint. In fact, in the past, Ghadge had written to the Chief Minister and the Home Minister accusing Parambir Singh of corruption. A case is now said to have been registered against Parambir Singh over the allegations.

As part of the information received, FIRs have also been lodged against Parbmir Singh as well as 32 other policemen. In fact, the ghadges posted in the Akola police control room come from the Mahar community, which belongs to the backward caste category. Ghadge has alleged in FIR that "he did not comply with some illegal orders of Parambir Singh in 2013. In FIR, he said, "At that time, in the Kalyan Municipal case, Parambir Singh conspired with others to register a criminal case against him so that he could be harassed. Singh did so because he belongs to the backward caste."

Let me us also tell you that there are other policemen in the FIR who were posted at Thane police station while Singh was the commissioner. In this case, 27 sections have been imposed including some sections of the SC-ST Act.
