Lucknow: An FIR has been registered against Mohammad Zubair, a AltNews man, and Twitter a social media platform in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Mohammad Zubair had shared a video alleging that an elderly man named Abdul Samad was forcibly summoned to 'Jai Shri Ram' in Loni while the accused included Arif, Adil and Mushahid. Police investigation did not find the case communal. According to police, there was an assault on the amulet. A FIR lodged at Loni police station in Ghaziabad last Tuesday said that police came to know from reliable sources that a video went viral on social media. In the said video, some people are seen beating and shaving a man named Abdul Samad. According to FIR, the video on social media claimed that the accused belonged to the Hindu community, who forcibly called 'Jai Shri Ram' from the elderly. Those who gave it a communal angle without checking the veracity of the incident include Mohammad Zubair, media portal 'The Wire', Rana Ayub, Salman Nizami and Saba Naqvi, Saba Mohammad and Maksoor Usmani. The FIR mentions the names of all of them. It has been alleged that the men suddenly propagated messages to harm public peace and divide religious groups. On the other hand, Rana Ayub spreads anti-national propaganda by writing to the foreign media. Saba Naqvi is also a senior journalist but has also spread fake news on social media. Salman Nizami is the leader of the Congress. Maksoor Usmani was the president of the AMU Students' Union and belongs to Darbhanga.
