Mumbai: Bollywood Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan has made a comeback on the small screen with Kaun Banega Crorepati-12, but controversy has arisen over his show. A case has been registered against Amitabh and KBC makers in Lucknow for hurting Hindu sentiments. Amitabh and the makers of KBC have registered a case against Ambedkar and Manusmriti during an episode of the show. One episode of KBC featured social activist Bezwada Wilson and actor Anoop Soni as participants. They have questioned for Rs 6.40 lakh. The question was that on 25 December 1927, Dr Ambedkar and his supporters burned copies of which religious book. Its options were given - A-Vishnu Purana, B-Bhagavad Gita, C-Rigveda and D-Manusmriti. The correct answer to this question was 'Manusmriti'. After this, Amitabh told the audience that Manusmriti was condemned by Baba Saheb and how its copies were lit in 1927. Since then, the opposition started on social media and the users said that this is to hurt the feelings of Hindus. As soon as this episode came on TV, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri wrote in a tweet, 'KBC has been hijacked by the communist. Innocent children learn how to win the cultural war. This is called coding. ' Along with Vivek, many other social media users are also asking questions on this. People allege that only books of a particular religion are mentioned in this option, which is wrong.
