13 people burnt alive after leakage in LPG cylinder

New Delhi: A big news has come from Delhi's Mangolpuri area. In fact, there was a leak age in the LPG cylinder last Saturday evening and then a building caught fire. Thirteen people, including three members of the same family, were reportedly burnt in the fire. Doctors say the condition of four people is critical. Three persons with the same minor burns have been discharged after first aid. Three fire tenders rushed to the spot in the case and brought the fire under control in half an hour. All the belongings kept in the house were burnt due to the accident.

Initial investigations are said to have revealed that gas was leaking from the cylinder after changing the regulator. According to the same information, Ganesh lives with the family in N Block Mangolpuri and works as a security guard. Ganesh was out of the house last Saturday evening while wife Savitri, daughter Mahima and son Sachin were in the house. Meanwhile, at around 6.30 pm, Savitri had gone to the kitchen to make tea and as soon as she lit the match to burn the gas stove, it suddenly spread around with a bang. Meanwhile, the woman along with her son and daughter were caught in the fire. People nearby rushed to the house as soon as they heard the explosion and everyone shouting. Everyone saw fire and smoke.

The three men were wrapped in fire on the floor. Seeing this, people poured water and cloth and started extinguishing the fire. Geeta, Prince, Lakshmi, Vinod, Vivek, Chhatrapal, Sanjeev, Sandhya, Nirmala and Manish, who live in the neighbourhood, were also burnt during the visit. Meanwhile, people in the vicinity tried to douse the fire by fetching water from their houses. Police said Ganesh's wife and Prince are in critical condition and have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital.
