Major blaze at RK Studio in Mumbai's Chembur. Maharashtra: In Mumbai's Chembur on Saturday afternoon the fire broke out in RK Studio. The Six fire engines, five water tankers, and 12 ambulances were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. It is said that due to the short circuit the fire broke out. As per reports, there is no news of casualty reported. The further details of the incident are yet to come and also the reason behind the fire is also awaited. The Bollywood Actor Rishi Kapoor at his Twitter account tweeted "Sad A major fire broke out at RK StudiosWe have lost the iconic Stage 1 Thankfully no casualties nor injuries. All your concerns appreciated" R.K Studio is a film studio both established by and named after the Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor and it is situated in Chembur, Mumbai. It was founded in 1948 and in the same year its first film AAG did not perform well at the box office.
