Darjeeling, celebrated writer Gokul Sinha translated the Nepali 'Ramayana', written by the 19th century legendary poet Bhanubhakta Acharya in english. Yesterday, the book launched by distinguished author Indra Bahadur Rai at a function. According to Rai, "Though Bhanubhakta's 'Ramayana' has been translated into other languages, but he had to wait for 200 years to get it translated into English. I congratulate Sinha on taking up this great task." Adi Kavi Bhanubhakta not only translated the Ramayana from Sanskrit to Nepali, but also gave a famous rhyme called Bhanubhaktiya laya to the epic.
