Kabul: A firing incident has come to light in Kabul University of Afghanistan. According to officials, the police have surrounded the huge complex. At the moment, no immediate notification of someone being injured is new. Home Department spokesman Tariq Arian told that the firing has started.
It has been learned that no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack. Last month, the Islamic State sent a suicide bomber to a teaching centre in the capital's Shia-dominated Dasht-e-Barchi, killing 24 students. It is also said that 8 people lost their lives in the bomb blast at the same college gate last year. In 2016, gunmen attacked a US college in Kabul, killing 13 people.
According to the information, at least 58 civilians have been killed in blasts and attacks in the four provinces of Afghanistan (Kabul, Ghazni, Khost and Zabul) between October 23-27. Meanwhile, more than 143 people were also injured. The report said that the number of civilians killed in Taliban attacks increased by 6 percent in the first nine months of 2020.
