Dubai's Hindus will get a big gift on Mahanavami, first grand temple to be inaugurated

Dubai: On the auspicious festival of Mahanavami, the people of the Hindu community living in Dubai are going to get a big gift. The Hindu temple in Dubai's Jabel Ali area is scheduled to be inaugurated a day before Dussehra. This grand temple has been prepared with many years of hard work. According to media reports, this temple is an extension of the Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple, which is the oldest Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The foundation stone of this temple was laid in 2020. With its construction, the decades-old dream of the Hindu community, who had been hoping for a temple in this area for a long time, will come true. According to media reports, common people will be allowed to come to this temple from October 5. There are a total of 16 idols of gods in this temple. People belonging to any religion, including Hindus, will be allowed to enter the temple.

The temple was informally opened for devotees on September 1. Since then, thousands of devotees have visited the temple to see its design and grandeur. White marble stone has been used abundantly in making it. Bells have been installed on the roof and it has been made with Arabic and Hindu geometric designs.
