The French league said in a statement that Marseille's home match against Saint-Etienne on Friday is now to be played on 16 September or 17 September. Due to which the former football club Marceli and Nमेmes had informed about the team's employees being infected with covid-19 3 days before the start of new season. Marceli said that three people associated with his club have been found to be Corona virus positive. However, the identity of the people affected by the epidemic cannot be revealed. On Tuesday, Nemes reported two suspected cases of infection with the virus and said that his staff is on segregation after the test. It was not clear whether these cases were related to the players or in which an official could also be present. The club had earlier canceled their practice match after receiving a suspected case of coronavirus last week. The team has to play its first match against Brest on Sunday.
