First Punjab Cabinet meeting to held today

The very first Cabinet meeting of Punjab Government led by newly elected Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is scheduled to held today at 12 pm according to sources news to take decisions.

In the meeting farmers' loans, fixation of the new power tariff, and measures to put the state's fiscal situation on track is expected to be discussed.

On 16 march, captain Amarinder Singh swears in oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab. In the Result of Punjab assembly election, the Congress party got 77 seats while  Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance got only 18 seats out of total 117 seats.
