An over 5-kilometre-long deployment of the Russian military advancing towards Ukraine's capital Kyiv has been detected as the war on Ukraine continues. Satellite images show a big Russian force advancing into Kyiv after crossing the Belarusian border into Ukrainian territory. Russian ground forces, including tanks, are heading towards Kyiv, according to recent satellite pictures, and are around 50 kilometres away from the Ukrainian capital. Fuel, supplies, and armoured equipment, including tanks, infantry combat vehicles, and self-propelled artillery, were transported northeast of the Ukrainian city of Ivankiv. Meanwhile, Ukrainian armed forces have said that Kyiv remains under complete military control. According to Ukraine's military forces, the situation in Kyiv is under control. "All Russian attempts to seize it have failed," the Ukrainian armed forces said in a statement. Russia is said to have employed Iskander missile systems to attack Ukraine's Zhytomyr Airport. Belarusian ballistic missile launchers were used to carry out the air strikes. Meanwhile, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has reminded British Prime Minister Boris Johnson that the next 24 hours are crucial for the country's rehabilitation from the Russian invasion. Notably, Ukrainian armed forces have fought valiantly on three fronts against the overwhelming Russian invasion troops. Russia suffered significant losses during the first four days of the invasion of Ukraine, according to the general staff of Ukraine's armed forces. "As of 6 p.m. on February 27, estimated loss of Russian personnel - around 4500 troopers, 150 tanks, over 700 armoured vehicles, 60 fuel tanks, 1 Buk system, 4 Grad systems, and 26 helicopters," according to the general staff of Ukraine's armed forces. Interestingly, the Russian authorities have apparently claimed for the first time that they have suffered fatalities. Despite the fact that the Russian government did not specify the number of deaths, reports say that one of their top generals was killed in the invasion. During their invasion of Ukraine, Russian soldiers have not been able to achieve any significant gains. While Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, still remains tall, Ukrainian armed forces repelled an overwhelming Russian invasion in Kharkiv, the country's second-biggest city, on Sunday. Ukrainian forces damaged Russian tanks and armoured vehicles, inflicting huge damage to their equipment. The Ukrainian army in Kharkiv also captured a large number of Russian troops. According to the governor of Ukraine's Kharkiv, Ukrainian forces have regained full control of the city. On the other side, Russian forces have failed to make any significant gains in the Donbas front, which is held by Ukrainian forces.
