About 25,000 houses have been demolished so far and six bridges have been washed away or damaged so far in the strong flow of the river. State that the situation in Gwalior in the State has become uncontrolled due to maximum rainfall and water released from the dam. Army and Air Force are being assisted for rescue operations. The air force helicopter is rescuing the persons but the rescue operation is also facing problems due to maximum rainfall. The situation has worsened in hundreds of villages.
