Fodder Scam: Lalu Yadav to appear before special CBI court on November 23

Patna: On November 22, RJD supremo and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav will arrive in Patna. On November 23, he would appear in the Special Court of the CBI in the fodder fraud case. Mrityunjay Tiwari, a national spokesperson for the RJD, confirmed Lalu Yadav's visit to Patna. Mrityunjay Tiwari said the RJD supremo will appear before the Special Court in the CBI on November 23.

He is also expected to be accompanied by former Chief Minister and his wife Rabri Devi, who are also visiting Patna. In the fodder fraud case, Lalu Prasad Yadav will appear before a special court in the CBI. In the fodder scam case, he will appear in court in connection with a false withdrawal of Rs 46 lakh from a banka sub-treasury. The prime suspect in the case is Lalu Prasad. A special court in the CBI had already ordered 28 defendants, including Lalu Prasad, to appear in court in the fodder fraud case. Lalu Prasad has been summoned before the Sadeh court by the court.

In the same case, the special court has ordered the CBI to report whether the absent defendants are alive or dead. Three of the defendants, including Lalu Yadav, appeared before the court through a lawyer on Tuesday, claiming illness and filing a 317 motion. The court approved his demand, and after hearing it, the Special Court ordered all of the defendants, including Lalu, to appear on November 23. . After which Lalu is coming to Patna on November 22 to appear before the court.
