Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) President Mamata Banerjee has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi seeking help for the purchase of Corona vaccines in the state government. The government of West Bengal wants to apply free vaccine to all the people of the state, due to this, they want to purchase the vaccine on a large scale. In her letter, Mamata Banerjee wrote that Prime Minister Modi should help in the purchase of Corona vaccines so that the people of the state can be given vaccination free. I request Prime Minister Modi to help us in the purchase of vaccines so that this vaccine is given free of cost to the people of the state." However, so far no response has been given by the government on this. Mamata Banerjee has already made a big announcement regarding free vaccination. She had said that arrangements are being made to give the free vaccine to everyone in the state. Mamata Banerjee said, "I am happy to announce that our government will provide the facility of corona vaccine to all the people of the state at no cost."
