Guwahati: Assam's Himanta Sarma government had cancelled board examinations for both class 10 and class 12 this year in the wake of the COVID-19 epidemic. Now the government has issued an evaluation policy for students of these classes. The norms have been fixed by two special committees on behalf of the government. According to the new order of the Assam government now, the marksheets of classes 10 and 12 will not be valid for government jobs. According to the new order, as soon as corona condition improves, teachers or other state government jobs aspirants will have to appear for the special exam. This special examination can be conducted till September 15 (unannounced date). The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced the evaluation criteria for class XII students. On the other hand, the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) had already released the evaluation plan for Class 10. All those desirous of becoming teachers/employees in the Education Department of Assam or any other department of the Government of Assam will need to appear for the exam.
