Kulbhushan Jadhav case: External Affairs Ministry's big statement says, 'ICJ will again take issue to India'

New Delhi: The Indian External Affairs Ministry has made its point in a press conference on the Kulbhushan Jadhav case. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in a press conference that India will once again visit the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Kulbhushan Jadhav case. He said, "We will try to have full implementation of the ICJ.

It is worth mentioning here that Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was imprisoned in Pakistan on Thursday, has been categorically denied access by Pakistan to the second consular access. In this connection, Pakistan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal has said that Kulbhushan Jadhav will not be given consular access for the second time. Ravish Kumar has said that the consular access given on September 2 was given on the direction of the ICJ and we have consistently asked Pakistan to comply with the ICJ order.

Ravish Kumar further said that we have seen the statement and we are still in touch with Pakistan. It is correct to say nothing more than that. Raveesh Kumar also said that Koolbhushan will talk to Jadhav through a normal diplomatic channel. Talking about the Kartarpur issue, Raveesh Kumar said, Kartarpur is hopeful that the issues on the Pakistani side will be resolved soon.
