In a recent shocking interview with The Cut, Meghan Markle talked candidly about her and Prince Harry's relationship with the royal family ever since they left the UK. The Duchess of Sussex insisted that she is "still recovering" from everything she and Prince Harry experienced while members of the royal family, but she is optimistic that they will eventually be able to move on. Markle talked about forgiving others and letting go of the past in an interview with The Cut and added, "I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive. But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I've really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything. I have a lot to say until I don't. Do you like that? Sometimes, as they say, the silent part is still part of the song." In a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, the Duchess of Sussex previously discussed her interactions with the royal family. Markle recounted in that interview how the Duke of Sussex was financially isolated, how his family's security detail was terminated, and how his father, Prince Charles, cut all contact with him. Recently, Markle also talked about how her podcast gave her an opportunity to be the "true" her. In the podcast's introduction video, she says, "People should expect the real me in this, and probably the me that they've never gotten to know. Certainly not in the past few years, where everything is through the lens of the media. As opposed to, 'Hey, it's me.' I'm just excited to be myself, and talk and be unfiltered and ... yeah, it's fun." THE VOICE: Fake things about the 'REALITY SHOW' revealed!
