New Delhi: In a shocking incident, Earlier CBI raided the Former bureaucrat BK Bansal as he was accused of corruption, now committed suicide along with his son. The wife and daughter of Bansal, previously committed suicide by hanging themselves in July.
A case was registered against Bansal for accepting Rs. 9 lakh as bribe from a pharma company. Bansal was posted as a senior officer in the Corporate Affairs ministry.
The CBI launched a hunt operation at his apartment and seized Rs. 60 lakh cash, 20 property papers and details of 60 bank accounts.
