New Delhi: Farmers of many states including Punjab and Haryana are protesting against the new agricultural law brought by the central government. In such a situation, the BJP-led central government is trying to convince the farmers that these agricultural laws are in their interest. But now, voices of protest are rising from within the Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana. In fact, a recent statement by former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha member Chaudhary Birender Singh had created a stir in the political circles by saying that the interests of farmers were more for them than party and politics. He said that I was ready to lead the farmers. It was believed that the former Union Minister could be involved in the demonstration of farmers. BJP leader Birender Singh recently said in Kaithal that, "If the farmers approached me, I was ready to lead the farmers."
