Former IMA Director Dr KK Aggarwal infected with corona, passed away

New Delhi: Padma Shri awardee and former Director of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Dr KK Aggarwal passed away last Monday at AIIMS in New Delhi. In fact, he was infected with corona and lost to the long battle with the same infection. As per the information received, the 62-year-old doctor, who had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS for the past few days, was put on ventilator support last week.

 

Dr. K.K. Aggarwal was one of the finest cardiologists, besides the head of the Heart Care Foundation of India. He was awarded the Dr. B.C. Roy Award in 2005, and was awarded the Padma Shri in 2010. G Darsal Dr KK Aggarwal had been posting videos about the corona epidemic for the past one year. In all the videos, he spoke on the management and different aspects of the corona epidemic. A statement posted on his Twitter recently said he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital at 11.30 pm on Monday.

Let us inform you all that during the epidemic, they tried their best to make people aware. Through many of the same videos and his messages, he reached out to 100 million people. Not only that, they saved countless lives. The statement said he wanted his life to be celebrated and not mourned.
