A statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is perfectly ready to be unveiled at the Shaurya Memorial intersection of Madhya Pradesh's capital, Bhopal. The statue will be unveiled on December 25, on the occasion of Vajpayee's birth anniversary. Madhya Pradesh Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inspected the statue site at the Shaurya Memorial intersection on Wednesday. Former mayor Alok Sharma, Bhopal Municipal Commissioner and other officials were present at the time of site inspection with the Chief Minister. Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Unveiled statue of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of the latter's 95th birth anniversary in 2019. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present during the occasion. The 25-ft bronze statue of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee was installed at the Lok Bhawan building, the statue created by Jaipur’s famous sculptor Rajkumar Pandit. Late Vajpayee was BJP’s tallest leader who represented Lucknow in the Lok Sabha for a record five consecutive terms, which also included his three stints as Prime Minister.
