Free public Wi-Fi Hotspot launched in Selected Gurgaon locations

Gurgaon: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar today launched Airtel Wi-Fi hotspots in Gurgaon to provide free internet connectivity to users in the city.

The free service is currently available at four locations in the city which are: Sadar Bazar, Sector 29, Mehrauli-Gurgaon road and Sirhaul.

“ The initiative has been promoted by the Munipical Corporation of Gurgaon and was launched by the Chief Minister of Gurgaon, Manohar Lal Khattar.”

The service will be available to all users provided they have a Wi-Fi compatible device. There are plans to extend the free Wi-Fi service across four more locations in the city which includes Cyber City, Galleria Market, Sector 14 and Mahaveer Chowk near bus stand.

“We are very happy to partner with the Gurgaon administration and enable citizens in the Millennium City to experience world-class Internet services on the go,” said Airtel, Chief Executive Officer (NCR), Dhruv Bhagat.
