Chennai: An AIADMK executive has thanked Chief Minister Stalin by posting a poster following the implementation of the free travel scheme for women on city buses.

In the DMK election manifesto, the DMK announced that if they came to power, the scheme of free travel for women on city buses would be implemented. Following this, the DMK alliance won the assembly elections and came to power.

On the same day he took over as chief minister, he signed a free travel plan for women on city buses. It was well received by the public. He also signed on to the first installment of the Corona relief scheme of Rs 2,000, including a reduction in the price of Avin milk. This was praised by many, regardless of party affiliation. In this situation, they demanded that the free travel scheme for women be extended to transgender and disabled people.

The plan was subsequently implemented for them as well. Women appreciate the fact that during the Corona period there was a reduction in wages, free bus travel for women in a family in the face of unemployment, saving significantly between 400 and 500 rupees per month. The AIADMK had already released a poster praising the AIADMK chief's plans.
