Born in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on July 10, 1951, Rajnath Singh is a prominent Indian politician and currently the Defence Minister of India. He was the Home Minister in the previous Government and is the former Chairman of the present ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was earlier the president of the BJP's youth wing and the BJP's Uttar Pradesh army.
