Ganesh Acharya's name has been in controversies for harassment

Controversial Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya is celebrating his 51st birthday on June 14. He started his career in the year 1992 with the movie Anam. Ganesh Acharya's father Gopi was also a dance master. When Ganesh was 10 years old, his father died. After the death of his father, his childhood was spent in extreme poverty. Ganesh Acharya's studies had been missed. At a young age, he went to his sister. Ganesh Acharya first took dance training from his sister Kamala Acharya. After this, he became an assistant to the famous choreographer Kamalji. At the age of 12, he formed his own dance group. By the age of 19, he had become quite popular.

Lost 85 kg weight: Ganesh Acharya's weight was once up to 200 kg. However, in 2017, he also lost 85 kg. Ganesh had said during an interview that he used to do the gym and swim for three hours. Along with this, he also made a lot of changes in his diet. Ganesh Acharya said, "I did not eat anything after eight o'clock in the night and before 12 o'clock in the morning. I eat fruit after the gym and I only take a liquid diet like green tea, and black tea at night.''

Name in controversy: Ganesh Acharya has been in a lot of controversies for some time now. Tanushree Dutta had accused him of harassment in the midst of the shooting of the movie Horn OK. Last year, a woman had lodged an FIR of sexual assault against him. The woman choreographer had alleged that Ganesh had forcibly shown her. Along with this, a senior background dancer claimed that Ganesh Acharya had sexually abused her in the 90s.
