Gaya 23rd Passing Out Parade: 82 soldiers took the oath of national service

Patna: As many as 82 gentleman cadets have passed out in the 23rd Passing Out Parade held at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya, Bihar. As many as 82 army officers took oath to serve the nation at the 23rd Passing Out Parade at the Officers Training Academy in Gaya. After completing one year of basic military training, various military engineering institutes of the country, military engineering colleges and after 3 years of training get commission for engineering training.

With the passing out parade and oath-taking, OTA dedicated 82 military officers to the service of the nation. At the same time, 82 gentleman cadets went to various military technical institutes of India such as Military Engineering College Secunderabad, Mau and Pune to get engineering degrees under Technical Entry Scheme No. 37. "We are from Katihar district in Bihar and I am the first in our family to join the Army. My father has worked hard to make me an army officer. My father was a truck and bus driver and his hard work has paid off today, which is why I have become a lieutenant today."

At the same time, Sukhwinder Singh's father Samarendra Singh says,  "We have worked very hard to get our child here. He has done the job of a driver and with the same hard work, Sukhwinder has been brought here. Now that Sukhwinder has joined the Army, I have stopped working as a driver and he has taken over the entire house. We are very happy, our villagers are also very happy that a boy from our village has become an officer in the army."
