German Chancellor, Vladimir Putin agree on need to avert war amid Ukraine tensions

MOSCOW: Both Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have emphasised the need of avoiding a war over Ukraine and resolving the problem through diplomatic means.
