Recently, the Pak government decided to make Gilgit-Baltistan their country’s fifth province, after two years when powers of the Islamabad-controlled assembly for the province were assigned to a local assembly. He said the region will be granted the rank of a full-fledged territory with constitutional rights such as delegation in both houses of Parliament.
