Giriraj Singh calls Owaisi a barrier in this Hindu-Muslim case

Giriraj Singh, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), made a controversial statement on the occasion of World Population Day. He said, there should be a two-child rule for both Hindu and Muslim in the country and those who do not obey this rule should abolish their voting rights. In a series of tweets, Giriraj Singh said that religious disruption is also one of the reasons for the disruption in population control. India is moving towards cultural division on the lines of 1947.

In his statement on the occasion of World Population Day, Giriraj Singh said that population is a great warning to India and it poses a threat to resource and social harmony. Strict legislation is needed for population control. Efforts are needed from road to parliament. Giriraj Singh said that the contractors of the vote have linked the population to religion. Population control is being accepted by Islamic countries, but in India it is linked to religion. Some people in the country spread disparity in society for their own benefit. People like Owaisi are the biggest obstacle to social harmony.

Before the controversial statement, Giriraj Singh wrote in his tweet that the population explosion is disrupting the balance of economy, social harmony and resources. Religious disruption is also one of the reasons for the disruption in population control. The country is heading for cultural division like 1947. He further wrote that all political parties must come forward for a population control law. Giriraj Singh has been in contention because of his statements.
