A woman dies after being hit by a bus

Haridwar: On the Haridwar Highway, a bike-riding couple was hit by a bus. Meanwhile, the woman died in the incident. After the accident, the locals caught the bus driver and the bus from the distance. Angry villagers then placed the corpse on the highway and started protesting.  The police officers who responded to the notification attempted to convince the locals, but they refused.

According to police, the accident happened at about 12 p.m. on Tuesday. Shamsher, a resident of Pathri police station's Ekkar Kalan hamlet, was riding his bike towards Roorkee with his wife Bhuri. A roads bus crashed with his bike as it reached Beldi village in Roorkee. As a result, the brown on the bike fell beneath the bus's wheel and died.

Villagers adamant on demand for compensation: A large crowd of locals arrived at the scene after the incident. The bus driver saw the location and attempted to flee, but was apprehended by locals a short distance away. Angry locals dumped the remains on the roadway and began blocking traffic. SSI After getting information, Deep Kumar and police officers raced to the scene. He attempted to convince the villagers, but they were adamant in their demand for compensation. According to the SSI, attempts are being made to persuade the residents.
