Girl abducted and gangraped by four persons

Guna: A tragic incident is coming to light from the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh in which a girl was gang-raped after being abducted. Police have registered a case against four accused in the case. Another criminal has also been taken into custody.  

According to the police, the victim had left home around 7.45 am and did not return till 10 am. Then the family began to search for her. During the search, the family members reached a nomadic people's Dera (temporary residence of a nomadic tribe) inside the nearby forest and found 4 people gang-raping the minor.

The criminals who carried out this heinous incident were challenged by the girl's family, then the four fled from the spot. The victim was then brought to The Kumbharaj police station, where the victim's family was asked to wait for four hours to file a case. The locals then reported the matter to district SP Rajiv Kumar Mishra. A case of gang rape was then registered at the police station after the intervention of the police captain. Why was the victim made to wait for more than four hours to lodge her complaint? To this, the police said that the SHO of Kumbharaj police station had gone out on work. On the directions of the SP, the woman police officer was finally called from a nearby police station and a case of gang rape was registered in the evening. Police said the four criminals have been identified as Ain Singh, Shakti Singh, Rakesh and Bokal Singh Kanja. One of the criminals has been taken into custody but his identity has not been disclosed. A medical examination of the victim has been conducted and further investigation in this case is going on.
