Captain Rani Rampal bid on Olympic preparations, says, 'Good against teams...'

Rani, the captain of the Indian women's hockey team, said on Wednesday that a good performance in the upcoming matches against high-ranked teams like New Zealand and Britain is going to prove to be better for the preparations for the Olympics. The Indian team will play four matches against New Zealand and one match against Britain.

Rani said that we want to do well against teams like New Zealand (ranking six) and Britain (ranking five). This will strengthen our Olympic preparations. A good start against tough teams matters a lot. India is to play with the New Zealand development team on 25 January. After this, it has to play with the New Zealand national teams on 27 and 29 January and with Britain on 4 February.
