On Thursday, Google launched a tool that measures a website's speed on mobile and desktop, and its mobile-friendliness on a scale of 1 to 100. It also gives a detailed test report on a user's request, which includes suggestions on areas that the website needs to work on.
The tool is easy to use, and user need to do is to type in the website address, and the tool will score the respective site. It can also offer a detailed report that makes suggestions on things that are required to be fixed.
Google already offers a number of testing tools for websites, including PageSpeed Tools, PageSpeed Insights, and its Mobile-Friendly Test, focused on the site’s design.
But, this tool is aimed at helping business owners determine their website's performance and can simply be accessed by anybody for that matter.
