Google is bringing this special feature for Android

Google is developing a fast share feature that allows you to quickly transfer files from Android and Chrome OS. It should appear with the release of the final version of Android Q, which will be released before the end of the year. Fast stock will come to change Android beam technology, which uses NFC and appears in Android 4.0. The new feature will allow you to find and install communications with other devices that use Bluetooth, and then transfer files through a direct Wi-Fi connection.

Fast stock will work just like airdrop on iOS and macOS. To send a photo or document, just select the file, click on the Fast share button in the share menu and specify the recipient. The file can be sent to another Android device, a Chromebook, a smart watch and even an iPhone.

The Google Files app has a similar feature. But the program should be installed not only on the sender, but also to the recipient, and it is only available on Android. How fast the stock allows you to transfer files to devices running other operating systems is not yet clear.
