Flyover Information Google Maps will now provide users with information on upcoming flyovers, helping them decide whether to take the flyover or use the road below. This feature is designed to eliminate the need for users to decide whether to take the flyover or not. Android smartphone users can expect to see this new feature soon, initially available in 40 cities across the country. Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Google Maps will now provide information on electric vehicle charging stations across the country. This feature will help drivers find their nearest charging station and check if it is operational. Google has partnered with Ather, ElectricPe, Kazam, and Statiq to provide information on over 8,000 charging stations. This is the first time Google is providing information on EV charging stations for two-wheelers globally. Booking Metro Tickets Google Maps will now allow users to book metro tickets. The company has partnered with ONDC and Namma Yatri to provide this feature on its navigation app. Users will be able to book tickets for metro lines in Kochi and Chennai and check public transport directions in these cities.
