Search engine Google is now thinking to update icons of its phone app for Android. According to information leaked via a YouTube ad, a novel multi-coloured icon for the Google phone app was spotted with a purported new name -- Google Call. According to 9to5Google, the YouTube ad also underlines the tech behemoth's caller ID feature, thus, saying: "Reliable caller ID lets you answer with confidence". The report added that the ad on YouTube for the Phone by Google app, as it is now officially referred to on the Google Play Store features a link to download and highlights a 'reliable caller ID' feature. Let us tell you that Google replaced its iconic Gmail envelope logo in october after seven years with a design that is more in line with other Google products. The new Gmail logo is now an M made out of Google’s core colours. Earlier this week, Google announced it would further put users in control of their data and the Google experience, with a new setting for smart features and personalisation in Gmail. Product Manager at Google Maalika Manoharan , said "Think: tabbed inbox, Smart Compose and Smart Reply in Gmail; reminders when your bills are due in the Google Assistant; and restaurant reservations in Google Maps."
